Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation was initially established as an association in 2007 under the leadership of the esteemed Hayat Nur Artıran; it was transformed into a foundation in 2015 by the decision of the association's management. The foundation's headquarters are located in Beykoz, on the Asian side of Istanbul.

Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation, without seeking any material gain and without any discrimination based on religion, gender, society, or race, aims to serve the highest ethical and human values with a vigilant understanding, insightful foresight, and mature judgment in all kinds of material and spiritual manifestations, through its domestic and international activities.

One of the most important goals of our foundation is to support all institutions and organizations that serve peace, unity and friendship. The main goal of our work is to bring together and bring together all distinguished institutions in Turkey and abroad that serve world peace and friendship, and to work together in all kinds of scientific, religious and cultural projects, sometimes when necessary, and to achieve solid and efficient results towards universal peace and tranquility as soon as possible.

Sharing high-quality ethical values with today's people, contributing to the upbringing of enlightened, thoughtful, and principled young generations who look to the future with confidence, and materially and spiritually supporting educational projects and institutions both domestically and internationally with this aim, constitute another important aspect of our foundation's activities.

Lasting peace and well-being for the entire world can only be achieved by transforming darkness into light, and by spreading and promoting an understanding of unity, harmony, and tolerance that embraces everyone sincerely and amicably, from individuals to societies, from societies to communities, nations, countries, and every kind of platform worldwide.
