Oran International Congress on Women in Islam
Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation represented our country at the congress, which was held in Oran, Algeria under the patronage of Algerian President Abde'laziz Bouteflika and attended by approximately three thousand people from twenty-seven countries.
The conference, attended by Mohamed Ali Boughazi, Special Advisor to the Algerian President, Mounia Messlem, Minister of Family and Women, Irina Bokova, UNESCO World President, and many politicians, bureaucrats, academics, artists and intellectuals, was widely covered by the world media.
During the conference, Mrs. H. Nur Artıran, President of the Foundation, conducted interviews with many TV channels and reporters of various newspapers from different countries of the world, especially France, Algeria and Indonesia.
Algeria: International Mostaganem Sufi Congress
Şefik Can International Mevlana Education and Culture Foundation represented our country at the "International Mostaganem Sufi Congress" organized by the Paris-based International AISA Foundation under the sponsorship of the Algerian Prime Ministry, Mostaganem University and many other organizations.
More than five thousand participants attended the conference in Mostaganem, Algeria, which brought together fifty-six religious and scientific experts from 33 countries, including the United States and Japan.
During the conference, Ms. Hayat Nur Artıran, President of the Foundation, conducted interviews with French and Algerian state television.
