Sertarik Mesnevîhân Şefik Can was commemorated on the occasion of the 15th Vuslat Anniversary with a program organized by Şefik Can International Mevlana Education and Culture Foundation at Istanbul Yenikapı Mevlevîhânesi Mosque.

On the occasion of the commemoration program, a Mawlawi Muqâbel was held for the first time in Istanbul Yenikapı Mevlevîhânesi with nine postnishins. Postnishin Hüseyin Top, Nalil Kesova, Peter Hüseyin Cunz, Nadir Karnıbüyükler, Hüseyin Erek, Fahri Özçakıl, Bahâüddin Tâhâ Çelebi Hidâyetoğlu, Gustavo Martinez and Mim Kemâl Öke took part in the âyin-i şerif, which took place in the blessed spirituality of Yenikapı Mevlevîhân for centuries. The whirling dervishes of the Şefik Can International Mevlana Education and Culture Foundation also participated in this very special âyin.
