Tahirü'l-Mevlevî, who is one of the most valuable greats of our Sufi, cultural and literary life of our last century, Mesnevîhân, Poet, Journalist, Writer, Author, Teacher, Researcher; multifaceted and great figure Tahirü'l-Mevlevî was commemorated at Yenikapı Mevlevihânesi in Istanbul with a Commemoration Program organized by Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of his passing. The program started with the recitation of the Qur'an and prayers recited at his grave in the Yenikapı Mevlevi Lodge Hâmuşânı and continued with the Mevlid-i Şerif and Mevlevi Semâ Âyini performed in Yenikapı Mevlevi Lodge Semâhânesi.

Tahirü'l Mevlevî was commemorated on the occasion of his 68th Vuslat Anniversary with a conference at the headquarters of Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation, which included presentations by expert academics including Prof. Dr. Sâfi Arpaguş from Marmara University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Güleç from Istanbul Medeniyet University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezai Küçük from Sakarya University.
