Our Dear Friends of the Heart,
We greet you all from the bottom of our hearts with the gratitude of coming together for the love of Ahl al-Bayt in the blessed time of the month of Muharram.
Under the patronage and guidance of Reverend Hayat Nur Artıran, President of Şefik Can International Mevlana Education and Culture Foundation, a program titled "Meram Conversations for the Love of Ahl al-Bayt" was held on Saturday, July 12 at our Foundation headquarters in Beykoz, which was enriched with two separate sessions full of gratitude and loyalty and musical performances.
In the program that started with the opening speech of Bahar Can, Vice President of Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation, after the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and ney recital, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara, one of our esteemed professors, gave information about the classical work Muhammadiye and İsmail Hakkı Bursevî's Ferahü'r-Ruh commentary, and shared with us the depth of our wisdom tradition and the manifestation of the love of Ahl al-Bayt in the hearts. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıpan, on the other hand, presented the interest and affection on Ahl al-Bayt and Karbala in our literature, and the influence that permeated our poetry with the couplets, ghazals and stanzas they selected in a very elegant style.
Reverend Safiyüddîn Erhan Effendi, the current representative of Bursa Numâniyye Ashrafoğlu Dervish Lodge, left a deep impression on our hearts by pointing to the historical truth and depth of meaning of the events in Karbala, reminding us of the need to distinguish between the oppressor and the oppressed, not to be deceived and to remain vigilant.
After the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, prayers and supplications, Ender Doğan performed a selection of hymns dedicated to Ahl al-Bayt and Hazrat Hussein with his musical committee.
We hope that the seeds of peace and love left in our souls by this heartfelt gathering will lead to many bright and lasting beauties, and we share with you, our dear friends, some frames that remain in memory of this exceptional day.
