Our Dear Friends of the Heart,
Organized by Şefik Can International Mevlana Education and Culture Foundation, "From Heart to Heart: Proper Communication Training for Volunteers with People with Disabilities and Children under Protection" program was held on Sunday, June 01, 2025 at our foundation headquarters.
The training, which started with the opening speech of Mrs. Hayat Nur Artıran, President of our Foundation, took place in two sessions. Among the participants were Elmas Esra Ceceli Islam, President of Darülaceze; Necdet Öztürk, Founding President of Global Disabled Foundation; Emel Alanyalıoğlu, Director of Metin Sabancı Care, Rehabilitation and Family Counseling Center; Dilan Akbayır, Social Services Specialist, Pedagogy Trainer; and Sıla Boyraz, Child Development Specialist.
Our esteemed panelists presented not only their professional knowledge and field experiences, but also a comprehensive perspective on how to establish a healthier communication with disabled individuals and children, shedding light on a society that can be lived together.
In this year, when the Ministry of Family and Social Services declared 2025 as the "Year of the Family", this program, which was prepared in line with the goal of providing a more institutional and professional structure for the services that our foundation has been providing on a voluntary basis for many years, aims to increase social sensitivity. and we hope that it will make a meaningful contribution to raising awareness in this field.
