Our Dear Friends of the Heart,
We greet you with the hope that our hearts will be filled with tranquility, our words with wisdom, and our path with compassion and decency.
On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, twenty-five French friends who serve as volunteers at the French Branch of the Şefik Can International Mevlânâ Education and Culture Foundation visited our Foundation headquarters in Istanbul.
In addition to the literary and Sufi trainings offered during their visit; on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the headquarters of our Foundation in Beykoz, Prof. Dr. Mim Kemal Öke's theater work "Hz. Şems'in Dilinden Hz. Mevlânâ", written in the traditional short story style, was staged by him in French.
In this magnificent meeting with the participation of our Foundation members and French-speaking guests from France, the truth in the language of Hazrat Shams was transformed from the word into a state and engraved in the hearts of the travelers of love and wisdom beyond the French address.
The words conveyed with the unique interpretation of our Mîm Kemal Hodja, the recitation of the Qur'an presented with the Sûrah of Shams and the dialogues with Hazrat Mevlana reached our audience with a sincere state of mind. While the music accompanied by oud, bendir and ney added a spiritual effect to this flow, the program ended with the hymn "Niyaz".
Theater Artist Ayşegül Günay, who accompanied this exceptional assembly with an elegant surprise, added a different emotion and depth to the program by acting a short episode from the theater play "I am Anatolia".
